Massachusetts may sue major banks over foreclosures

Massachusetts Attorney General Cites ‘Lost Confidence’ in Banks, May Sue – Bloomberg.

Several other states are investigating the allegedly faulty practices of banks when foreclosing homes with delinquent mortgages.  They are New York, Delaware, and Nevada.

New Jersey has so far done nothing to help the thousands who have fallen behind in their mortgage payments or who have been already foreclosed out of their homes. However, New Jersey has joined the other 49 states  and the federal government in negotiating a settlement with the banks.
