Corporate orders for durable goods rose 2.4% while new claims for unemployment in the U.S. fell to 402,000 last week

Claims for unemployment aid dip but remain high –

Unemployment rate remains static. The economy must generate at least 100, 000 jobs per month just to keep up with population growth.

Economic growth will remain anemic until demand picks up. I do not see the latter raising significantly until median income increases significantly.
